$145,378 – $168,130 per year plus superannuation Join Screen NSW, a group within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Clerk Grade 11/12 with a salary range of $145,378 - $168,130 per annum plus superannuation Ongoing role based in Sydney CBD About the role Reporting to the Head of Screen NSW, the Senior Manager, Content Investment plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the screen industry in New South Wales. Leading a dynamic team, you will drive the development and implementation of strategic content initiatives and funding programs across feature films, television, documentaries, children’s content, and online media. Your work will support the sustainable growth of creative practitioners and businesses, promote diversity and inclusion within the sector, and align with the NSW Screen and Digital Games Strategy. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the industry, working closely with stakeholders, agencies, and organisations while leading a high-performing team to deliver innovative outcomes. Screen NSW is the state’s screen funding body and supports the industry through a range of initiatives and programs while also promoting NSW as a premier filmmaking destination. About You You are a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the screen sector, encompassing development and production across a project's lifecycle. You will have a deep understanding of production budgets, recoupment structures, and the financial intricacies of content creation and distribution. With in-depth knowledge of both Australian and international screen industries, you will bring valuable insights into key stakeholders, trends, and emerging practitioners on all platforms. You thrive in navigating complex issues, balancing competing priorities, and developing strategic solutions within tight timeframes. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a dynamic team are essential. Tertiary qualifications in film studies, media, or equivalent industry experience are required, alongside a collaborative approach and agency for fostering growth and innovation in the sector.
