The Role As Senior Manager Development Services, you'll lead a dynamic team delivering professional planning, development, and compliance services that shape our valley's future. You'll be instrumental in: Driving strategic development initiatives and implementing Council's annual plans Leading complex planning, building, and compliance matters Managing key stakeholder relationships across government, development, and community sectors Overseeing the implementation of planning schemes and regulatory frameworks Building and mentoring high-performing teams Skills & Experience We're seeking an experienced leader with: A qualification in Planning or related field, combined with extensive industry experience Comprehensive knowledge of planning and building legislation Proven leadership capabilities in managing teams and resources Outstanding strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving abilities Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment within set timeframes What’s on offer Lead role in shaping one of Tasmania's most distinctive regions Supportive executive team focused on innovation and excellence Monthly rostered days off and flexible working arrangements Lifestyle benefits of Huon Valley living How to Apply Ready to lead transformative development in the Huon Valley?
