The role As the Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnership you will be the key contributor to the APAC Finance department, with responsibility for managing a team of Finance Business Partners, who support our projects and programs across the APAC region. Our Finance Business Partner team is responsible for supporting our projects and programs with monitoring financial performance, generating business unit reports, forecasting and budgeting, ensuring data accuracy and providing financial training. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the APAC Finance Director in the delivery of Financial Management support to our Regional Business Partners, whilst implementing best practices outlined by Global Finance. Lead the Project Controlling team to manage all direct and intercompany projects in the ERP systems. Expand the financial acumen of our Business Leaders, Project Managers, and Project Administrators. Support the accurate and timely month-end close process for the Region. Coordinate closely with Project Directors / Managers and Operations staff to validate and consolidate forward financial performance forecasts and financial reporting metrics. Work with the Project Finance teams to maximize the utilization of resources and build global best practices. Lead the preparation of Local Entity Financial Statement preparation and management of local statutory audits and tax compliance in APAC Project Office jurisdictions. Review and take action to ensure timely preparation of Project balance sheet reconciliation by the Project Controller and Finance BPs. Ensure financial compliance with client contracting regulations and maintain awareness of legislative and regulatory changes. About you You will have extensive experience in project and business financial planning/management, preferably from within a donor-funded organization. You have experience managing a team of Finance Business Partners, whilst being hands-on with your own portfolio. You are an analytical problem-solver who can interact with stakeholders at all levels and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Additional key requirements include: FP&A experience from within the donor-funded industry (preferable), Consulting, Not for Profit, or a Project-based organization. CIMA, CA or CPA qualified. Experience and a strong understanding of tax and compliance regulations across the Region; primarily Australia, Indonesia, The Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Vanuatu. Excellent stakeholder management and engagement experience.
