We’re seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our team at Benchmark Senior Living. In this role you will play a critical role that directly supports budgeting and forecasting for the company. This position will also spearhead revenue management analytics in partnership with sales & operations teams and directly reports to the Senior Director of FP&A. Responsibilities: Support Senior Director of FP&A in developing the talent of the newly created FP&A team while responsible for individual contributions. Lead the annual rate increase process in partnership with accounting. Create monthly and/or quarterly pricing recommendations for all communities. Operate as subject matter expert on unit types and pricing recommendations based on renovation status, length of vacancy, and other factors. Support IT with regular testing of newly created revenue management database. Participate in community visits alongside asset management, sales, operations, or independently. Responsible for budgeting and forecasting for a portfolio of assets to include CCRCs and other high impact communities. Partner with Regional Directors of Operations as point of contact for budget creation. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop operating budgets that may include HR, Risk Management, IT, Sales & Marketing. Provide support in testing and regular maintenance of budget system as needed. Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed to support organizational needs. Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with data and information. Lead, manage and/or participate in special projects as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. 5+ years of experience in budgeting and forecasting either in an operating company, or in partnership with an operating company. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint, data analysis tools, and techniques. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify growth opportunities and overcome challenges. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of the senior housing or hospitality industry is desirable but not required.
