Your New Role: As the Senior Manager, Member Data, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and ensuring data assets are realizing value. Your focus will be on managing a team of analysts and accelerating change within the Member Domain. You will champion Data Governance initiatives, encourage data literacy, and embed the use of governed data assets across the Fund. This role presents a unique opportunity to significantly influence the use of data at the Fund and the efficiency of our member operations. Key duties include but are not limited to: Lead, mentor and develop our team of analysts to successfully develop and deliver governed data assets. Foster a high performing culture within the team and drive continuous improvement and development, ensuring processes are reviewed and automated wherever possible. Ensure an approach of ongoing learning and development for the team, with technical skills being optimized across our tools. Continue the development of reusable data assets that embed a strong data management approach. Work as a vocal champion, partner and educator in forming strong data foundations that will accelerate the fund in delivering critical strategies. Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into data and analytics deliverables, ensuring alignment on business goals and data initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of seniority to clearly understand the business outcome and benefit the data deliverables will support. Be able to articulate that clearly. Manage the pipeline of work for the team and influence to prioritize the delivery, anchored to business outcomes. Work closely with our technology partners for delivery of data assets. Independently manage multiple deliverables in a proactive and structured fashion with the ability to define scope, plan, controls, processes, and artifacts. This requires an understanding of the activities required to enable outcomes. What You'll Need: A relevant Tertiary qualification is essential. At least 5+ years of management experience in data analytics in financial institutions, with substantial experience in directly partnering with senior business stakeholders and teams leading change. Strong technical expertise in data analysis including proficiency in SQL, Python, R or similar tools. Experience with data visualization tools eg Power BI or Tableau and data warehousing concepts. Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing high performing teams. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders. Strategic thinking and problem solving abilities with a focus on delivering business value through data. Experience in leading teams to develop efficient operating models that utilize systems, processes and people capability. Utilization of JIRA and Confluence is required. Strong operational understanding of superannuation Member data including deep knowledge of client 360 related data products, advanced marketing analytics, client digital journeys and Member administration related processes is a plus. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a project environment to deliver data solutions.
