Details - Senior Manager, Prevention and Inclusion Senior Manager, Prevention and Inclusion Job No.: 568587 Work type: Fixed Term Full Time position Fixed term position – 30 January 2026 Candidate to be based at La Trobe University Bundoora Campus Attractive salary commensurate with experience An exciting opportunity to shape the student experience About the position The Senior Manager, Prevention and Inclusion reports to the Director, Student Engagement and Inclusion and is responsible for leading the Prevention and Inclusion team, which focuses on primary prevention, health promotion, training, and education. This role oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based projects and capacity-building initiatives that foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment across La Trobe University. The Senior Manager will also provide strategic advice to the Deputy Director, Student Engagement and Inclusion, and other University leaders, with a focus on sexual harm prevention, mental health and wellbeing, neurodiversity, accessibility, and inclusion. Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have: Demonstrated strategic and leadership skills, effective engagement and project management skills and a proven record of accomplishment in designing, delivering and evaluating prevention projects, health promotion initiatives and mental health, wellbeing and inclusion training programs. Demonstrated capability and experience to synthesise knowledge and convert it into innovative and sector-leading primary prevention initiatives. Demonstrated high level of theoretical and applied knowledge in professional area of expertise. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in liaising with staff at all levels of an organisation, negotiating effective outcomes, consultation and facilitation of group discussions. Proven ability to deal with concepts, decisions and complex information or situations in an efficient and effective manner. Proven record of developing innovative solutions and practical implementations for strategic change. Demonstrated experience in developing innovative solutions and contributing to strategic planning, including a demonstrated ability to develop and implement policies and practice and developing innovative solutions in pursuit of continuous improvement.
