Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist or Provisional Fellow) Join our vibrant rural community in Blackwater as we seek a motivated and compassionate Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist or Provisional Fellow) to provide primary healthcare services and leadership to our growing population and be part of a dynamic team that makes a difference in the lives of our locals.The Senior Medical Officer delivers high-quality primary and secondary healthcare at Blackwater Multi-Purpose Health Service, prioritising patient safety and continuous improvement. This role supports clinician development and may require service across multiple CQHHS facilities, including Rockhampton, Gladstone, and Emerald. About the role: The Senior Medical Officer provides high quality primary and secondary medical services to the Blackwater Multi-Purpose Health Service, with a commitment to patient safety and continuous service improvement and assists in the professional development and support of clinicians as required. About you: MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. The incumbent is required to maintain registration with the Medical Board of Australia at all times. FACRRM or FRACGP or evidence of significant progress as an ACRRM or RACGP. Advanced skills in the following will be favourably considered:Obstetrics i.e., DRANZCOG (Advanced) Anaesthetics ie: JCCA Surgery Internal Medicine Emergency Medicine Paediatrics Current ALS and PALS certification. Enrolment in and maintenance of a CME/CPD program with an appropriate medical body. What we offer: Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $459,097 p.a. is comprised of: A salary rate between $182,106 - $187,801 p.a. (L13-L14) A salary rate between $182,106- $210,332 p.a. (L13-L18) A salary rate between $210,332 - $251,527 p.a.
