Medical rostering is complex requiring a well-developed understanding of employment and rostering policies and legislation. It also involves analysis and comprehension of medical officer classifications, range of skills, capabilities and standards to ensure that rostering is managed in a way that takes into consideration a doctor’s availability and fatigue management principles.
