You will be responsible for driving the development of our product range for your assigned product category, working closely with our creative direction, designers, and merchandise team to meet targets of the BEST/WIN/GROW strategy and "Go-to-market" calendar. You will mentor and coach junior team members to accelerate their ability to conceptualise and bring designs to life in line with LSKD Creative Direction. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Collaborate with Creative Direction to understand LSKD’s product vision and community needs. Provide recommendations to merchandise teams to build your category ranges through creative concepts and design. Generate creative ideas for new products, features, and enhancements that align with the Creative Direction and community insights. Apply market research, trend analysis, and product testing insights into product development. Translate conceptual designs into actionable plans, considering materials, functionality, and cost. Oversee the prototyping and testing process, working with partners and internal teams to create samples. Conduct product testing and validation to ensure quality and compliance with standards. Source and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and production schedules for efficiency. Lead product development projects from concept to launch, managing timelines, budgets, and resources. Implement quality assurance processes to maintain product integrity and meet customer expectations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to address quality issues. Experience in activewear fabrics is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in garment construction techniques. Understanding of product Lifecycle Management Software and CAD tools. Experience with E-Commerce platforms and software such as 3clicks, Style Arcade, Shopify, and Asana. Strong understanding of the LSKD community, brand mission, and values. Ability to identify new learning areas and stay up to date in your expertise. Strong communicator, conveying information effectively.
