Position: Fixed Term Full Time (1.0 EFT / 80 Hours) Ending August 2025 Salary Range: $112k - $121k Benefits: Great Staff Benefits, Salary Packaging & Novated Leasing About the team Southcity Clinic is a busy community-based alcohol and drug treatment service specializing in complex comorbidities. Clinical services include complex bio-psycho-social assessment, counselling, care coordination, and medical AOD treatment. The multi-disciplinary team includes AOD clinicians, addiction medicine specialists, and an AOD GP, with support from a Dual Diagnosis Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatry Registrars, and Consultant Psychiatrists. Southcity Clinic also provides primary, secondary, and tertiary consultations for GPs and other health professionals working with illicit and prescribed drug dependence. About the role The Senior Mental Health Nurse will be clinically situated within Southcity Clinic, providing specialist mental health and addiction support to consumers across other AMAH community programs and building workforce capacity to manage co-occurring psychiatric and addiction conditions. The Senior Mental Health Nurse will support the assessment, coordination, and delivery of care within Southcity Clinic and more broadly across the addictions program. They will work closely with other team members to provide mental health expertise and support whilst working within a harm-reduction model of care that is responsive to the consumers' engagement and recovery goals. The ability to work productively with consumers that continue to present as a risk of ongoing substance use is a key aspect of the role.
