CoMHET caters for people dealing with acute mental health issues in the community. The service provides telephone and face-to-face Mental Health triage, assessment, and short-term intervention for residents in Bankstown. You will be working with a team of dynamic professionals who are passionate about Mental Health. What You'll be Doing As a senior clinician, provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, strengths-focused, recovery-oriented assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team. Relevant qualification/registration in one of the disciplines, as noted in the essential criteria (please refer to the position description) Demonstrated experience providing advanced evidence-based, strengths-focused, recovery-oriented assessment and treatment for consumers of the mental health service. Demonstrated commitment to the philosophy and practice of consumers’ families and natural supports participating within the treatment process, as appropriate and in accordance with the NSW Mental Health Act 2007. Demonstrated skills in clinical leadership and clinical supervision within a multi-disciplinary treatment setting. Effective interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and personal resilience. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and competence in the use of information technology systems. Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process. Ability to work independently and in consultation with the multidisciplinary team. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
