Our expanding portfolio of operating mines, development projects, and exploration prospects make Aeris an exciting, growing company. Role Overview Based in Brisbane, this role is designed to specifically support our Tritton Mine located in regional NSW and will be required one week per month at site (Monday – Friday). Tritton is a key operating asset in our portfolio with 20+ years history of underground operations. We are continually looking at ways to improve our underground operation and refine how we make our existing mine perform at its best now and into the future. The role of Senior Mining Engineer is a key position focused on stope design, development design, drill and blast designs, ventilation assessments, backfill engineering, occasionally short term mine planning, and continuous improvement projects. Candidate Profile We are looking for an experienced mining engineer, familiar with UG hard rock mining, who has the desire to be a leader, is safety and people focused, has a continuous improvement mindset, thrives in a strong team, and can communicate across all levels of the organisation.
