Job Opportunity: Senior Technical Specialist (Network Engineer) Join a leading provider and household name Routers and Switchers focused, firewall experience still required 6 month initial contract with potential for extensions Location: Sydney, 3 days on site per week We've partnered with a leading provider to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Technical Specialist (Network Engineer) to take the lead on and drive a number of key projects. These projects will be primarily focused around switches and routers (Cisco and Juniper) while firewall experience is still required. You will be scoping, designing, configuring, and implementing solutions while also setting the standards and guiding third parties at the same time. Requirements: 10+ years experience in Networking Exceptionally capable in routing and switching having used Cisco and Juniper products Be competent in firewall network and policy configuration (Check Point and FortiGate) Experience across VPN - MPLS Layer 3, some layer 2 Cisco ACI, BPA, NSO experience highly desirable Python experience highly desirable Desired certifications: CCIE or JNCIE-SP The client is looking for a quick turnaround with submissions due Tuesday the 17th.
