About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader in the Operational Technology (OT) space, specifically within Infrastructure and IT Networking, to join the Bexton Cloud & Infrastructure Practice. This role is ideal for someone who has recently transitioned from a hands-on technical role into senior leadership or is looking to take that next step in their career. You will work with a prominent client in the utilities sector, providing expertise in OT communications, including but not limited to Contact Centre, Unified Comms, IoT, Mesh networks, TDM radio and more, with a strong focus on team leadership and architectural guidance. Responsibilities Provide technical leadership across OT infrastructure and networking operations. Guide and mentor technical teams, fostering skill development and best practices. Design and implement robust OT network architectures to meet business and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute OT communication strategies. Support the GM of IT in aligning OT initiatives with broader IT and business goals. Oversee the integration of OT systems with enterprise IT infrastructure. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in OT infrastructure and security. Ensure compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity protocols. Skills and Experience Extensive experience in Operational Technology, IT Networking, and Infrastructure. Strong Technical leadership and technical mentorship capabilities is a must. Hands-on experience in OT communications, networking, and security. Proven ability to transition from technical execution to technical leadership. Experience working in the utilities or critical infrastructure sectors is highly desirable. Strong understanding of OT network architectures, protocols, and security standards. Proven experience working with and managing large scale 3rd Party Vendors. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
