Senior Occupational Therapist – Adult Clients (NDIS, ICare, Lifetime Care, Aged Care) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing specialized services to adult clients across a variety of sectors including NDIS, ICare, Lifetime Care, and Aged Care. This position offers an opportunity to work in Liverpool or Parramatta, providing care and support to clients with diverse needs. The Senior Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing tailored therapy interventions to improve clients' independence, safety, and quality of life. This includes working closely with clients, families, caregivers, and external service providers to create holistic, client-centered therapy plans. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients with varying needs (NDIS, ICare, Lifetime Care, and Aged Care). Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence, rehabilitation, and injury management. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and outcomes for clients. Provide education and training to clients and families, fostering self-management and enhancing daily living skills. Mentor and supervise junior occupational therapists and support staff. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for client records and reports. Stay updated with the latest industry practices and evidence-based therapy techniques. Essential Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist working with adult clients, ideally within NDIS, ICare, Lifetime Care, and/or Aged Care sectors. A relevant degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Strong clinical knowledge and practical experience in functional assessment, rehabilitation, and client-centered therapy approaches. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work autonomously as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment.
