About the role: As the Senior Offensive Security Consultant, you will be leading the offensive security streams of work at MyEmpire, providing guidance and thought leadership on services, and delivering exceptional quality engagements to clients. At a high level, the role will undertake the following: Technical Assurance : Providing technical leadership, development, and hands-on capability across engagements, such as red teaming, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, incident response and threat hunting activities. Innovation & Research : Developing, adapting, and innovating MyEmpire’s offensive security capabilities to create competitive, future leading, and effective service offerings to provide value and achieve client outcomes. Client Engagement and Relationship Management : Cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders and serving as a trusted advisor, effectively leading complex cyber security engagements. Team Mentoring : Providing mentorship and guidance to junior consultants, fostering their professional development and promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation. Quality and Assurance : Ensuring client deliverables are of the highest standards. Business Development : Introducing new business opportunities and supporting pre-sales activities. Experience and Knowledge: Proven, demonstrable experience in a senior offensive and technical security consulting role, with a track record of delivery excellence and service innovation. A strong understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends across offensive security practices. A team-first mentality, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels with clients, partners and internally. Ability to effectively communicate, through verbal and written means, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies to support client leadership in making informed decisions. Deep technical expertise in cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and methodologies across a variety of offensive security engagement types (web application, infrastructure, mobile application etc.). A strong understanding of cloud environments (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and on-premises infrastructure. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security challenges and develop practical solutions. Strong commitment to staying current with emerging threats, trends, and technologies in the cybersecurity landscape to support forward-looking services. Preferred industry certifications such as CREST and OSCP.
