SA Health Job reference: 892209Location: 5006 - NORTH ADELAIDEJob status: OngoingEligibility: Open to Everyone Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN), Allied Health & Aboriginal Liaison, North Adelaide (5006) Salary/Classification - AHP3 - Allied Health Professional L3 - $104,180 to $111,746 Employment Full time - Ongoing Permanent About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Allied Health (AH) team as a Senior Orthotist/Prosthetist where you will be responsible for: Providing highly skilled clinical Prosthetic/Orthotic services across WCHN, to maximise outcomes for clients. Ensuring high standards of care in specialty care is provided to clients throughout WCHN. Providing assessment and best prosthetic/orthotic intervention, formulating treatment objectives and treatment plans for clients with complex pathologies. Maintaining close liaison with community organisations and health providers involved in related issues and service delivery. Providing a consultancy service within the department and to other health professionals within WCHN and other external agencies on assessment, delivery, and long-term management of clients in area of expertise. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification of Orthotists and Prosthetists. Demonstrated ability to ensure the provision and promotion of high quality, efficient and effective Prosthetic and Orthotic Services. Experience in clinical leadership including service development and evaluation and quality management activities. Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate effective time management. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. What WCHN Can Offer You Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
