Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist (Level 3) This position qualifies for a Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (pro-rata part-time/temporary positions less than 18 months), and a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (pro-rata part time), under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme. This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas. Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (until 10 November 2025 Maternity Relief)Position Classification: Physiotherapist Level 3Remuneration: $112396 - $116038 + SuperHours Per Week: 38Requisition ID: REQ549829Location: Broken Hill Hospital What you'll be doing The position is responsible for providing advanced Physiotherapy assessment and treatment services to patients within the varied caseloads at the Broken Hill Hospital and Health Service and outreach locations. Outreach services may require intervention that isn’t primary skill set of the individual. It is expected the successful applicant would have experience in all/majority of the areas above or the willingness to undertake further professional development in areas requiring upskilling. Provide evidence-based practice to the specific case load and their family members as appropriate. Utilise advanced practice skills to assess and implement interventions in complex cases. Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, attending relevant case conferences, family meetings and team meetings. Represent the department in relevant hospital, Area, State or Professional meetings. Assist in clinical orientation and supervision of Level 1-2 Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, Students and SBATs. Present to colleagues on a regular basis i.e. article reviews, current research, conference presentations, etc. Participate in clinical supervision with a relevant supervisor/mentor.
