The Role: Senior PHP/Magento Engineer They’re searching for a skilled Senior PHP/Magento Engineer to be a driving force within our engineering team. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you’ll lead key integrations across eCommerce systems and payment gateways, building and enhancing the core functionalities of our platform. As a senior member, you’ll collaborate with our wider engineering team to deliver game-changing user experiences. From upgrading legacy code to innovating new methods, your work will empower brands to engage audiences through interactive and commerce-optimised content. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with product management and design teams to deliver innovative features. Manage partner integrations, new feature developments, and platform improvements. Address and resolve backend issues, ensuring code quality through robust testing. Troubleshoot performance and scalability challenges, supporting a global user base. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to strategic decisions that drive the product roadmap. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in eCommerce Development (transactional systems/online retail). Advanced proficiency in PHP and REST API development (GraphQL knowledge is a bonus). Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Agile Development Practices. Proficient in Postman and understanding of OOP , Test Driven Development (PHPUnit) , and Continuous Delivery . Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity and secure development principles (OWASP).
