Key Responsibilities This role is primarily responsible for partnering with the leadership team and global functions to align people strategies with business objectives, providing strategic guidance on people calendar activities, acquisitions & integrations, employee engagement and employee relations management, to drive company performance.Your main responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Acting as a key strategic advisor to the leadership team to deliver a people service that is tailored to the APAC region. Leading, developing and motivating a small team of Business Partners. Leading the creation and delivery of strategic people plans in line with our business strategy and building organisational and people capability. Working closely and collaboratively with global functional teams to advise and guide the business on appropriate global people processes and activities. Providing expert advice and coaching to line managers on a range of policy queries and employee relations issues, including performance management, discipline and grievance. Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses, working with the business and People team stakeholders to ensure a positive people integration experience. Skills and experience The ideal candidate will have: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Management or related field. 15+ years’ experience, preferably in a professional services environment with at least 5 years in a team leadership position. Proven experience of operating as a HR Business Partner at a senior level, overseeing the full employee lifecycle. Experience of working collaboratively with a 'Centres of Excellence' HR operating model. Commercial and financial awareness and high business acumen with an understanding of the external market, company performance, market intelligence and business drivers. Strong relationship and account management skills, including negotiation, contracting, consultancy, facilitation, influencing, presentation and communication skills, and able to apply project management methodologies. Able to coach senior managers including the ability to manage difficult discussions in an empathetic and compassionate manner. Creative and innovative approach to problems and solutions, can decipher clarity from ambiguity. Next Steps We make hiring decisions based on your experience, skills and passion.
