What you’ll be doing The role of the marketing function is to drive new member growth and greater engagement of members shopping across the Wesfarmers brands. As Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's digital media strategy, with a primary focus on driving cost effective new member acquisition across various online channels. This position will be responsible for the performance marketing budget, optimizing spending for the best ROI, and tracking performance metrics to refine our tactics and strategies. Key duties and deliverables: Strategic Planning Key member in building the OnePass acquisition strategy with a focus on digital media and performance to achieve company goals Developing and executing comprehensive digital media strategies aligned with overall business goals, including audience targeting, channel allocation, and budget management Campaign Management Lead media agency in the planning, execution, and optimization of paid advertising campaigns across channels such as search, social, display advertising, affiliates and content creators Developing testing frameworks and leveraging innovative tools to scale the program Performance Analysis Monitoring and analysing campaign data using analytics tools to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), measure ROI, and make data-driven adjustments Leadership Managing a team of 2 digital marketing specialists. Providing guidance and mentorship. Lead the day-to-day media agency relationship Innovation and Testing Exploring new digital media trends, testing innovative strategies, and identifying opportunities to optimize performance Identify new strategies and advertising tactics to encourage business growth Collaboration Working closely with other departments like marketing, partnerships, data and analytics and product to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and customer acquisition goals Lead media efficiencies through leveraging Wes Data (OneData) and Tealium to enhance audience targeting (and re-marketing) What you will need 7+ years’ experience in a similar role Innovative thinking and a passion for understanding the everchanging consumer and media landscape Deep understanding of digital marketing platforms, data analytics and customer behaviour Excellent ability to communicate data into relevant insight. You know how to tell a story, with a beginning and a conclusion from the data. Highly skilled in project management and organisation – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively. Strong commercial acumen Experience operating within a complex environment Results driven Strong digital landscape understanding Strong collaboration with multiple stakeholders Deep understanding of data analysis and reporting, including proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics Proven ability to develop and execute successful digital media strategies Strong leadership and team management skills – minimum 3 years leading a team Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate performance insights to stakeholders Join The Team We’re continuing to bring the best talent and skills under one roof, working together and across disciplines to build amazing experiences for our customers.
