(pro-rata) + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits Adelaide CBD Part Time, Contracted Role working 22.5 hours per week up to 12 months About the role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician Service Coordinator to lead and implement workforce strategies across SA Pharmacy. In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to Pharmacy Assistants, Technicians, Pharmacists, and Intern Pharmacists to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality pharmacy services. You’ll play a key role in staff orientation, training, performance reviews, and practice development, working closely with pharmacy leadership to optimise service outcomes and support staff working to the top of their scope. Your responsibilities will include managing a large and complex workload, supporting the prioritisation of human resources, developing and reviewing workplace strategies, and representing SA Pharmacy on committees and workgroups. With a focus on embedding continuous workforce development and ensuring staff competence, you will help shape a collaborative and effective environment that enhances patient care and service excellence. About You We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician Service Coordinator to join our team. You will bring: Strong Leadership and Organisational Skills: Proven leadership, time management, and teaching abilities, with experience in mentoring staff, developing training tools, and managing workloads. Extensive Pharmacy Experience and Technical Expertise: Background in hospital pharmacy, proficiency in pharmacy management software, and knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, and production methods. Excellent Communication and Teamwork Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, and adapt to changing workplace demands. Commitment to Accuracy, Safety, and Service Improvement: Attention to detail, knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme and safety guidelines, and experience in driving improvements through gap analysis and reporting.
