Senior Planning Compliance Officer COS40 Home > Jobs > Senior Planning Compliance Officer COS40 As the Senior Planning Compliance Officer you will enforce compliance of use and development with the Colac Otway Planning Scheme, Planning and Environment Act and other relevant legislation and policies To proactively minimise non-compliance with Council’s planning scheme and planning permit conditions through effective community education. To contribute to the preparation of policies and procedures relating to compliance actions undertaken by Council. To assist other Council compliance officers and undertake general enforcement duties as required. You will be responsible in investigating complaints of potential breaches of the Planning Scheme to determine the degree of non-compliance and take relevant steps to satisfactorily resolve non-compliance, taking an educative (rather than punitive) and customer focused approach. #J-18808-Ljbffr
