A crucial part of this role is managing large and complex data sets while ensuring robust controls around production schedules, change control, and version control . The Specialist plays a critical role in delivering student load forecasting and operationalising student fee setting, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and governance. Collaboration with stakeholders across the University is essential to solve complex business problems through effective analytical techniques. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee large-scale data sets, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and governance. Develop and maintain controls for production schedules, change control, and version control to ensure seamless operations and data reliability. Deliver high-quality student load forecasting and contribute to the operationalization of student fee setting . Utilise enterprise forecasting platforms and advanced analytics tools to drive strategic decision-making. Apply data management best practices to ensure compliance with governance frameworks and institutional policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse trends, identify opportunities, and optimise planning and reporting processes. Continuously develop and apply insights into factors influencing staff and student experiences. About You Strong analytical and conceptual skills , with the ability to assess the impact of changing requirements and develop strategic recommendations. Expertise in querying and validating data, identifying patterns, and presenting complex insights in a clear and actionable way. Proven experience with enterprise forecasting platforms and systems . Deep understanding of data governance frameworks and managing dynamic systems. Technical proficiency in modelling, relational databases, and data warehouse technologies , such as SQL, Hyperion/Oracle EPM, Power BI, and Snowflake. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
