About the role: An exciting opportunity exists for a high-performing and motivated individual with excellent policy analysis, project management experience, and stakeholder engagement skills to join the Youth Justice Act Implementation Team within Victoria Police - fixed term until 30 June 2027 . As the Senior Policy/Project Advisor your duties will include: Leading development of policy and strategic advice to senior and executive management Leading coordination of multiple project streams to enable successful implementation of multi-year youth justice reforms Developing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, including collaborating with other Government Departments Identifying and actively managing emerging opportunities, issues, and risks that may impact implementation of reforms Fostering a positive team culture About you We are seeking applications from candidates with: Demonstrable experience and strong skills in communication Capacity to develop and contribute to robust and practical policy advice Ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders at differing levels to coordinate advice and responses on project deliverables and organisational positions while maintaining good relationships Demonstrable experience in project management Capacity to work collaboratively with team members and contribute to a productive and supportive organisational culture Demonstrated experience managing priorities and delivering to deadlines Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Requirements and relevant information: One (1) x fixed term until 30/06/2027, full time position. Part-time or other flexible work arrangements will be considered. This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
