Senior / Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Primary Location: Perth CBD Project: Brownfield Mining Projects Duration of Contract: 12-Months Initial Contract The role responsibilities include: Lead and manage the FEED engineering phase, ensuring robust and innovative design solutions. Deliver detailed mechanical designs and specifications for mineral processing plants and bulk material handling equipment, including conveyors, crushers, and chutes. Ensuring compliance with Australian standards and client requirements. Engage directly with clients and stakeholders, providing strategic advice and addressing technical challenges. What you'll need to succeed: Extensive experience in the Australian mining industry, with significant expertise in mineral processing plants and bulk material handling systems. Proven track record of leading engineering teams and managing complex design projects. FEED engineering, equipment design, and troubleshooting for mining infrastructure. Deep understanding of sustaining capital projects and the unique requirements of mining operations.
