Position Overview: We’re seeking an experienced and effective Senior Procurement & Sourcing Lead to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and driving both our national and global procurement strategies. Working closely with the R&D team, you'll directly support new product development, using your strong research skills to identify and secure cutting-edge innovations from around the world. Your efforts will ensure that your team is well-equipped to meet our ambitious growth targets and contribute to the continued success of the business. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate procurement functions and team responsibilities, including forecasting and inventory control. Review and improve procurement systems to support company growth. Collaborate with R&D to source materials for NPD and explore global innovations. Assist with supplier agreement negotiations and maintain competitive pricing. Ensure compliance, onboard new suppliers, and mitigate procurement risk. What Skills or Experience would make you a great fit for this role? Procurement Expertise: Proven experience (3-5 years min) in a similar role driving procurement strategies, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Forecasting & Reporting: Meticulous attention to detail and ability to generate demand forecast requirements; and ability to assess and report on supplier and product profitability. Process Optimisation: Experience reviewing and enhancing procurement systems and processes to support growth. R&D Collaboration: Strong interest to work with R&D teams to support new product development and source cutting-edge innovations globally. Communication & Problem Solving: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to solve complex procurement challenges efficiently. Qualifications: Excellent MS Office (Excel) and Google tools. Diploma in Business or related field would be welcome, but not a requirement.
