We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Product Manager to oversee and drive the remediation, compliance, and management of our product reference data. This role will focus on ensuring full compliance with the ACCC Consumer Data Right Standards, requiring a deep expertise in data quality management and remediation. Who are we? The Role As the Senior Product Manager, you will lead initiatives to ensure our product reference data is accurate, compliant with regulatory standards, and aligned with industry best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues, implement effective remediation strategies, and continuously enhance data integrity. Your insights will be crucial in driving compliance and improving overall data management processes. Your day to day Remediation & Compliance Management: Lead remediation efforts across product reference data and other areas, ensuring full compliance with ACCC Consumer Data Right Standards and other relevant regulations. Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis: Identify, investigate, and resolve product and data-related incidents through root cause analysis, driving actionable remediation plans that prevent recurrence. Process Improvement & Optimisation: Work across product teams to evaluate and improve operational and product management processes, optimizing efficiency, data quality, and compliance. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with legal, compliance, risk, operations, marketing, IT, and customer support teams to ensure effective remediation strategies are executed and product quality is continuously enhanced. Stakeholder Reporting & Communication: Provide clear, timely updates to senior management and key stakeholders regarding remediation progress, compliance status, and product quality improvements. Risk Management: Proactively identify risks associated with product compliance and quality, and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges. About You Extensive experience in a product remediation role across the banking sector is desirable. Happy to undertake a 6 month contract. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly the ACCC Consumer Data Right Standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on incident management and root cause analysis. Experience collaborating across multiple departments, particularly in legal, compliance, risk, operations, and IT. Strong communication skills, with the ability to report effectively to stakeholders. Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements while ensuring compliance.
