The Research in Implementation Science and eHealth (RISe) group in the Charles Perkins Centre at the University of Sydney is at the forefront of implementation science and digital health innovation. RISe is committed to advancing the integration of evidence-based care into healthcare systems through a combination of research, education, and strategic partnerships with services, government, industry, and communities. The Senior Program Manager provides project management, leadership, and specialist advice to coordinate the effective development and implementation of project activities and tasks. The role coordinates multiple internal and external project stakeholders and manages effective communication to ensure project deliverables are achieved. The primary focus of the role is on coordinating the development of a Research Implementation Hub in the Charles Perkins Centre as a key component of the CPC Solutions Domain. This is a Centre-first project to ensure that the research activity of the over 800 researchers in chronic disease management in the Centre is translated into real-world impact. There will also be opportunity to engage in other RISe projects in digital health implementation. Your key responsibilities will be to: Lead the planning and establishment of the Charles Perkins Centre Implementation Hub and engage in other RISe projects. Provide routine project management as well as broader project/program strategic advice and recommendations. Coordinate stakeholder engagement both internally and externally. This includes scientists, government, industry, and health consumers. Generate detailed project activity reports and proactively implement necessary changes to ensure consistent progress towards milestones and timely delivery of project deliverables. Proactively seek opportunities for project growth and/or funding. About you Academic or research experience in health and/or implementation research or similar environment. This includes experience with managing projects and their associated administrative and budgetary requirements. Experience in managing diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders. Significant project management experience. Demonstrated research skills including understanding of implementation science, the ability to effectively undertake literature searches, and prepare reports on the findings of such activities using high-level analytical skills. Effective management of a diverse group of key stakeholders involved with large or complex projects and the ability to develop/cultivate productive relationships with industry providers and key users. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
