Senior Program Officer - Contracts Management Education (Organisation site)Early Childhood Programs and Funding Branch - Early Childhood Division Are you interested in supporting strategic initiatives that contribute to departmental commitments, shaping the future for our children and young people? The Early Childhood Division is looking for people who will play a key role in driving the successful implementation of key early childhood programs through effective stakeholder engagement and contract management, to ensure service delivery responds to the needs of families and their children aged from birth to 8 years. Your Role: As the Senior Program Officer, you will: Support the delivery of early childhood programs including funding program development, and implementation and performance management of funded services. Support the development of strategic initiatives and provide advice on policy development, operational planning and programs. Support the development and delivery of governance processes to implement policies, procedures and frameworks. Responsibilities include: Research, plan and implement early childhood development programs and initiatives. Support the management of a suite of programs to ensure the strategic aims and objectives of the Government are achieved. Provide advice on operational policies, programs, budgetary matters and legislative issues relating to early childhood development programs and services. Support the design, planning and review of programs and strategies for the provision of early childhood initiatives in Queensland. Use effective project management strategies to ensure outcomes are delivered in a timely and effective manner.
