Job Description

Our client is a well-known developer builder operating throughout Australia. With significant land holdings, the organisation is growing its construction delivery capabilities here in Melbourne. The business is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to support a Senior Project Manager on a multistage $500M residential precinct which will be staged over the next 5 years. In this role, you will work onsite with the Construction Management team assisting with coordination of trade groups, liaising with procurement teams, managing design development, working with local authorities and end users, and supporting and collaborating with various consultants and the general construction team. You will have a strong understanding of OHS and QA and ideally be in a position where you can support the SPM in an Assistant Project Management capacity with the intention of managing one of several residential structures in a PM capacity once you have demonstrated your skillset. This role has great scope for career development in the sense that it remains a relatively small team here in Melbourne with a clearly defined pathway for this person to move into running projects independently. The project has a 5-year pipeline of continuous works with future work currently already in the planning stage.
