Base pay range A$180,000.00/yr - A$220,000.00/yr Business Manager (Construction & Engineering) at Stellar Recruitment Are you a PROJECT ENGINEER or Senior Project Engineer who thrives working at the coalface on Pilbara earthworks projects overseeing site construction activity? In this role as PROJECT ENGINEER or SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER you will be working FIFO 2/1 ex-Perth to a large WA minesite infrastructure project for a blue chip iron ore mining company. You will be supporting the delivery of a large bulk earthworks scope of works worth approximately $20m so it is essential that you have previously fulfilled a similar role for civil contractors in the unique Pilbara “Pindan” soil. The purpose of the PROJECT ENGINEER/SPE will be to facilitate the smooth running of the project by providing support to the site management team by answering technical queries, input to programming & scheduling, coordinating procurement, subcontractor management, progress reporting, cost management, monitoring and reporting on progress, and HSEQ compliance. This PROJECT ENGINEER/SPE role will suit a candidate who has around 5-7 years previous post graduate FIFO experience in WA on minesite civil infrastructure projects. Ideally you will have worked in the Pilbara for civil contractors on earthworks projects for blue chip iron ore clients (eg. BHP/Rio Tinto/FMG) such as; site preparation earthworks, embankments, rail formation, haul/access roads, TSF construction or similar. On offer will be a terrific remuneration package CIRCA $180-185K Base + Super (& 20% site uplift) = $220K + Super.
