A07/1 Senior Project Manager - MMC Team Initial 3-month contract + likely extension Queensland State Government $85.31 + super per hour ASAP start! Brisbane CBD This large QLD State Government Department is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team, to lead building construction projects in MMC Team. You The ideal candidate will have strong and proven construction project management experience. Building construction, building or residential project management experience. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with Australian Standards for tendering, and non-price criteria in tender evaluations. Construction-related education. Familiarity with contract law concepts and building construction industry practices. The role Co-ordinate and manage building Modern Method of Construction projects including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration and post-occupancy evaluation activities. Co-ordinate and manage project procurement activities for building projects including contractual aspects and agreed parameters of time, cost and quality. Liaise with the appropriate client representatives on operational matters. Assist in engaging, liaising with and co-ordinating external consultants and Portfolio staff involved in the provision of pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration and post-occupancy evaluation services as members of the project team on individual projects. Provide advice to Client Representatives on procurement methodologies and project programming. Perform project maintenance within the Financial System, including billing, scheduling, and reporting.
