Resolve Recruit is partnering with a key Commonwealth Government agency to find a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to support with two major application IT initiatives. As a Senior Project Manager , you will be responsible for implementing Commercial Off-The-Shelf and bespoke applications, working closely with business analysts, solution architects, developers, and other IT professionals to deliver high-value outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead complex IT projects from inception to completion , including scoping, planning, and implementation according to agreed standards. Manage project resources, budgets, and stakeholder relationships , coordinating with business subject matter experts and service providers. Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation , including business cases, project plans, transition strategies, and reports. Drive organisational change management initiatives , ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and communication. Oversee project procurement activities , including Request for Quotes, tenders, and evaluation processes. Identify, assess and mitigate project risks , ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Key Skills and Experience: Strong financial management skills with experience in budget planning and compliance. Expertise in organisational change management and stakeholder engagement . Demonstrated ability in requirements definition and management for large-scale initiatives. Experience in adapting and implementing project management methodologies and tools . Strong relationship-building skills , with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
