This role involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, encompassing sales opportunities and estimates through to planning, execution, monitoring and closure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, mitigate risks, and drive change to successfully implement technology solutions aligned with the client's objectives and measurable benefits.You are a proactive leader with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills and a deep understanding of project management methodologies, delivery approaches and commercial engagement models (T&M, Fixed Price, etc.). You will be the primary point of accountability for project success, navigating complex environments to deliver value-driven outcomes.Candidates must be based in Brisbane and have Australian Citizenship. Responsibilities Main tasks include specifically: To plan, execute, and manage IT and Business projects from sales, initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with client objectives and contractual commitments. Ability to understand client requirements from Request for Proposals, and work with the Akkodis sales and solutions teams to plan and estimate the delivery plan within the bid responses. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. Monitor and report on project progress, resolving issues and mitigating risks. Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including business, technical, and third-party vendors. Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships by providing clear communication and updates that align with project goals. Ensure alignment of project activities with the client's portfolio and program objectives. Foster a quality mindset within the project team to ensure deliverables meet agreed standards and client expectations. Oversee change management processes to adapt projects to evolving business needs. Maintain strict adherence to budgetary controls and contractual obligations. Conduct project post-mortems to capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, legal, and ethical standards. Conduct risk and issue management, identifying, assessing, mitigating project risks, and managing resolution of issues. Implement robust change control processes to address project changes systematically. Leverage project management knowledge and experience to identify and support growth opportunities for Akkodis technology solutions and sales functions. Embrace a continuous learning and sharing mindset by actively participating within Akkodis Practices (Australia and globally) to identify growth opportunities and enhance skills for themselves and others. Represent Akkodis Australia with professionalism, maintaining objectivity and confidentiality, acting as an ethical and trusted advisor, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the engagement. Required Skills Project and/or Program Management - to plan, oversee, and deliver projects that meet deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements - knowledge of program management and program-level practices. Consultancy - to provide professional advice and guide decision-making, addressing business and technical challenges and demonstrating strong problem-solving and critical thinking. Business Development - collaborate and enable sales teams on growth opportunities for project services, sales support, proposal and estimation development. Stakeholder Relationship Management - to build and maintain relationships, foster trust, and support long-term client partnerships. Risk Management - identify and analyse project risk for appropriate measures to mitigate or manage the risk. Financial and Demand Management - manage project finances, including budgets and cost tracking, and balance project demands with resource availability. Project Change Control - implementation of a process that supports change initiatives to minimise disruption and successfully adopt new processes and technologies. Quality Assurance - implementation of processes that ensure the project meets defined quality standards throughout the project lifecycle and client expectations. Performance Measurement - identify metrics to report project progress and identify when to escalate. Project Management Frameworks and Methods - applying and adapting frameworks and tools for delivery excellence and supporting through guidance and coaching of frameworks, tools and techniques to the project team and client. Required Experience: Showcase at least 15 years project and/or program management experience across different industries and consulting engagements. Australian citizen with AGASVA baseline security clearance or a clean criminal record which will allow Akkodis to sponsor your security clearance request. Comfortable conceptualising service offerings and delivery plans through the pre-sale's engagement phase including client presentations and Q&A sessions. Undertaking delivery of complex projects or programs (e.g. multiple solution vendors, digital transformation, large stakeholder base, critical legislative or compliance change). Achieving successful outcomes through applying delivery frameworks and methods (e.g. Prince2, MSP, Agile, Scrum). Capability in delivering applications, software development and implementation projects within technical platforms (e.g. AWS, Microsoft D365, Microsoft Azure, Integration Services, Data & AI). Clearance Requirements Must be an Australian Citizen . Have a Baseline or NV1 security clearance or can obtain one.
