12 + 12 + 12 month contract - February Start $140 - $180 per hour (inc-Super) - market estimate NV1 Security Clearance Required Canberra City Address - onsite Our client, a large Federal Government Department, who enhance agriculture industries, forestry, trade and biosecurity are seeking the experience of a Senior Project Manager (Cyber / E8) for a 12 + 12 + 12 month contract in Canberra. Duties of the Senior Project Manager (Cyber / E8) Managing, delivering and monitoring projects that may have an organisation-wide impact. Developing, managing and implementing project plans and schedules in accordance with the agency's project management framework and considering project interdependencies. Collaborating closely and professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Contributing to project design, governance arrangements and operational integration. Ensuring project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget. Coordinating strategic planning for longer term project initiatives including communication plans. Developing staff capability through coaching, mentoring and succession planning. Providing expert advice and feedback to stakeholders and the agency's executive. Researching, reviewing and evaluating projects in specific operational or technical areas including Cyber Security. Skills and Experience Required 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in an ICT or Cyber Security role. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Demonstrated experience in Cyber Security. Demonstrated experience in the Essential Eight.
