Our client is a boutique construction consultancy offering construction planning, advice and client project management services across Commercial, Residential, Mixed-use, Retail and Hospitality sectors. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director to join their professional team. A high degree of client and stakeholder liaison will be involved, from feasibility stage to delivery stage of the project. Leadership, communication and people management skillset will be paramount along with a strong base of technical knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and expand a business unit in a market that the company is established and respected in. Will be managing people as well as being a client representative to executive clients and in time, undertaking some business development as well. Candidates can come from a consultancy or head contractor background and ideally have experience in sectors such as Commercial, Residential, Mixed-use, Retail and Hospitality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Client management and consultation Business Development Project Planning/Feasibility studies Design Management and Value Engineering Procurement of construction services Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent Commissioning and post contract duties for handover Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor of Construction Management, Engineering or property related qualification 7 to 15 plus years of end to end project management on building projects Experience in Business Development or a strong network would be an advantage Strategic thinker who is able to see the bigger picture Excellent verbal and written communication skills This is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and innovative organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
