Senior Project Officer - ICTS Rotating Project Group (527687) Department of HealthHealth ICTHICT - Digital Health Applications must be submitted by Monday 10 February, 2025 11:55 PM AEST Award/Classification: Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award, General Stream, Band 6 $107,899 to $122,292 pro rata, per annum Employment type: Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing in April 2025 until 30 June 2026. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Region: South Location: The Digital Health Transformation Program aims to empower both consumers and healthcare professionals by leveraging system-wide, digitally enabled technologies to improve patient outcomes. The Role: The Senior ICT Project Officer (Technical) - ICTS Rotating Project Group will: Provide support to the Senior Project Manager / Project Manager and work as a member of one or more project teams to implement the objectives of the commissioned projects within the Group. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to support the implementation of project activities. Ensure that ICTS project initiatives are supported by contemporary and best practice technical advice and align with Agency/ICTS policies, procedures and core business and relevant legislation. You will need: Demonstrated in-depth experience in project management, including organisational skills to plan, coordinate and be responsible for several concurrent project activities whilst working in an environment subject to work pressures and change. Demonstrated ability to think strategically, be analytical and creative, and to understand and analyse the complex organisational, social, economic, and political factors that impact on, and inform on, Health ICT project initiatives within the public service. Proven high level interpersonal and communication skills, together with the proven ability to consult and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, confidently and clearly convey information, ideas and resolve complex issues, utilising initiative, and professional judgment. To assist the Senior Project Manager / Project Manager with the technical analysis and requirements of specific project initiatives and provide advice in dealings with internal and external stakeholders. To provide direction, support and coordination to technical team and other project members, including identifying and resolving issues of a technical nature and leading technical solutions in negotiations and ensuring that assigned project activities are aligned to Agency ICT policies, core business functions and relevant legislation. To provide authoritative advice on ICT technical issues and attend to complex and contentious issues either impacting on or impacted by the delivery of project activities. To establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to support the achievement of good outcomes for the business unit. To contribute to the preparation of high-level correspondence, technical reports and submissions. To represent the ICT Rotating Projects unit and project teams in stakeholder forums and meetings as required. Salary: $107,899 to $122,292 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
