Salary starting circa $107K+ (based on skills/experience) + 11.5% Superannuation Doncaster East Depot location Exciting opportunity to use your key engineering design skills to help deliver complex civil projects for the Manningham community. This role plays a vital role in scoping and managing civil infrastructure projects with a water focus, including easement drainage design and solving flooding issues. About the Role This position is responsible for the design and administration of infrastructure projects with an emphasis on drainage for Manningham. This is achieved through evaluating design problems and managing consultants to develop construction plans for tendering. You will need to think on your feet and adapt to changing conditions—be that underground services, politics, or topography—to ensure high-quality designs. Skills and Experience Equivalent of a Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field with substantial experience in the design of civil projects (a focus on stormwater is highly regarded). A professional with the ability to design, review, and manage complex civil projects. A project delivery professional who can effectively and economically plan, implement, and supervise civil projects to ensure compliance with contracts, Council requirements, industry standards, and legislative requirements. A specialist who naturally mentors engineers and fosters an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing. A problem solver, able to resolve complex operational and service delivery issues to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. Experienced in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Civil Site Design for the design/review of roads, drains, and traffic improvement works. Experience and understanding of ESD, IWM, and WSUD.
