Foundation Recruitment is seeking an experienced leader to take on a challenging role as Senior Quality Control Manager on a U.S defence project based in Darwin.This role will allow you to fully own the Contractor Quality Control Program. You'll set the bar for excellence, ensuring all project work meets and surpasses industry standards. Collaborating with high-level stakeholders and overseeing critical project components, your expertise will drive success and inspire your team.What Your Day Looks Like: Steering the implementation of advanced quality requirements as defined by contracts and client specifications. Leading, managing, and continuously optimising the Project QC Program. Providing strategic oversight through comprehensive daily QC reporting to ensure alignment with project milestones. Certifying high-level QC submittals and ensuring full compliance with specifications. Overseeing the Submittal Register and rework log, proactively addressing challenges to maintain project momentum. What We’re Looking For: Educational Foundation: Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience: 10+ years in leadership roles such as Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Construction Manager, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in quality control management. Leadership: A track record of managing complex projects, leading teams, and delivering results in high-pressure environments.
