Senior Radiation Therapist - 5D Clinics Melbourne Medical Melbourne Full Time 5D Clinics Australia We have a position available for Senior Radiation Therapist to join us as 5D Clinics Melbourne, our CyberKnife service in Melbourne on a permanent full-time basis.Working a 76-hour fortnight you will have the opportunity to work at a dedicated CyberKnife treatment centre. With its advanced precision and non-invasive treatment capabilities, CyberKnife is poised to improve treatment outcomes for patients across the eastern seaboard of Australia. Our vision is to re-imagine stereotactic radiation treatment care standards and increase patient accessibility to a six-star health care experience in targeted Australian states.Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centred clinical radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery services that complies with all relevant safety and quality standards. Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience. Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner. Exhibit a strong patient focus and treat all patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality. Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient-centric and collaborative approach. Support the Charge RT and/or RT Manager in the day-to-day management of a planning or treatment unit. Effectively prioritise the workload and duties of other RTs on the unit. Perform quality assurance checks on treatment plans to ensure safe delivery of care. Act as a technical resource, and support the development of all staff in the unit. About you: Our dynamic and innovative teams collaborate closely to maintain a team focus on providing cutting-edge radiation therapy techniques. We are looking for someone who is highly enthusiastic, motivated, and quick to adapt in a supportive environment. Skills & Experience: Proven technical proficiency in stereotactic radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery. Effective interpersonal and communication skills that inspire trust and confidence required to build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services. Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures. Understanding of the service delivery model within the private healthcare sector. Demonstrable capacity to work effectively and positively both independently and as a member of the multidisciplinary team. Current AHPRA Registered Radiation Therapist. Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in radiation therapy planning and delivery required to perform patient quality assurance checks. Demonstrated leadership qualities with capacity to lead small teams under guidance. Demonstrated capacity to develop, implement, monitor, and report on clinical protocols and adherence.
