Senior Recruitment OfficerFull-time Permanent Details: The Recruitment and Information Services team is seeking applications from highly motivated, customer focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic team environment delivering recruitment services across the ACT Public Service (ACTPS). Services we provide include transactional and operational support on recruitment matters and HR position management, including executive recruitment. We are often the first point of contact for recruitment matters and enjoy problem solving towards successful outcomes for our customers. The Senior Recruitment Officer is responsible for: Operational support and management of team allocations including quality assurance of requests. Providing support, mentoring and guidance to staff including in-house training. Manage and oversee complex cases and requests in relation to a range of recruitment activities. Providing high level advice to directorate customers regarding recruitment matters, inclusive of executive recruitment; and Relationship management of directorate customers and their employees. To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in delivering recruitment services within a government setting. Experience in training new staff and confidence in resolving complex recruitment matters. Experience in managing workloads within a fast-paced environment. Notes: This is a full-time permanent position commencing 1 July 2025. A merit pool will be created which may be used to fill identical vacancies, both temporary and permanent, occurring over the next 12 months. Currently the team works under a hybrid arrangement with a combination of office-based work located at Winyu House, Gungahlin and home. These arrangements are contingent on business requirements.
