Senior Renewable Engineer About the Company Core Talent has partnered with a global renewable energy developer with a strong presence in Australia, their Australian head office being in Melbourne, VIC. Their global portfolio includes onshore wind, offshore wind, utility-scale solar, and BESS projects. They have a large pipeline of work for the next few years and are looking to expand their engineering team to fulfill project needs. Benefits Up to $200K + super Hybrid working between the office and home (occasional site visits when needed) Opportunity to work for a global leader in renewable energy development About the Role As the Senior Renewable Engineer, you will be working closely with the Engineering Manager and Technical Director as the subject matter expert to develop utility-scale wind farm projects that meet the required specifications. You may also need to provide assistance to solar farm projects, so experience with both would be ideal. In this position, you will be a part of the ambitious growth plans that will allow the company to thrive and succeed in the Australian renewable energy market. Duties Lead the engineering works for utility-scale wind farm developments Oversee civil, structural, electrical, controls, construction, grid, and Wind & Turbine Performance (W&TP) engineers Design and layout planning considering wind patterns, topography, environmental impact Provide technical support during construction phases of projects Provide assistance with utility-scale wind farm projects Skills and Experience 10+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry Extensive experience in the design of utility-scale wind farms Degree educated in electrical engineering or renewable energy Experience in working with EPC Contractors and/or design consultants Ideally, worked on Solar & BESS projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
