Job Description About the Role The purpose of the Senior Research Officer role is to support the Cross College Examinations Review (CCER) and contribute to data collection and analysis, review, report writing and evaluation related to quality improvement of RACP examinations and programs of assessment as directed by the CCER project team. The role will also support the preparation for and facilitation of meetings of the Cross College Examination Review Advisory Group and related activities, and aspects of project management and product development linked to the review. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract. Key Accountabilities Support a team culture which fosters individual and team growth to achieve organisational and project goals. Demonstrate a problem-solving approach and focus on quality improvement. Undertake research, data collection and analysis related to quality improvement of RACP examinations and more broadly programs of assessment. Conduct literature reviews. Support preparatory work, development of materials and facilitation of relevant meetings and workshops. Contribute towards preparation of reports and other documentation related to the review. Plan stakeholder communication and consultation and establish timelines in with concurrent projects and operational activities. Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and determine best approach to realise review outcomes. Desired Skills and Experience A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. education, health) that includes training in qualitative and quantitative research methods, or significant relevant experience Research experience including conduct of a research project Basic proficiency in data management and statistics using applications such as Excel and SPSS Basic proficiency in qualitative analysis using NVivo High level written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Tact and sensitivity to confidential issues Sound problem solving skills Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines in a high workload area Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently Interested?
