Job Requisition ID # 24WD84251 Position Overview The Revenue Accounting Team is responsible for revenue recognition and reporting for Autodesk worldwide. The Revenue Analyst will work closely with the Senior Revenue Manager/Revenue Manager providing deal support to the business for large Enterprise contracts in addition to traditional revenue accounting tasks. This position will perform monthly and quarterly close activities for revenue, reconcile and validate revenue, prepare required journal entries, analyze data, and prepare reports for auditors and management. In addition, the position will also assist with process re-engineering and system enhancement projects. Responsibilities Support Revenue Accounting and Revenue Accounting Operations teams Pull documentation needed for WW deal reviews and statutory audits Running reports Business Object Finmart to identify deals are in scope for deal review Prepare deal review packages for QE/YE audit selections to ensure adherence with revenue recognition principles Assist with revenue adjustment and forecast alignment Assist with quarter end analyses such as SSP, contract mods, etc. Prepare ASC 606 contract review documentation of non-standard T&Cs for revenue scoping Perform account analyses and reconciliations for revenue related accounts Prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue Support team in preparing Apollo UAT documentation Supporting to build efficiencies through process improvement Other ad-hoc requests from Senior Analysts and Managers Minimum Qualifications B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred but not required 3-5+ years of revenue or general accounting experience Acute attention to details and well-developed organization skills Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills, strong Excel skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment Experience with monthly and quarterly close activities, account reconciliations, problem resolution, audit schedule preparation and working with external and internal auditors, as well with stakeholders from international locations Software company experience preferred SAP, Business Objects, RAR and Anaplan experience Outstanding analytical, communication, and technical skills and a can-do attitude Strong understanding of larger-company finance and accounting practices Confidence, good judgment, energy and personality to work in a dynamic, multi-business unit environment across all levels of management and across business units and functions Mindset of seeking out constant process improvement and have initiative to implement new efficiencies #J-18808-Ljbffr
