About the Opportunity: Based in Sydney CBD, and reporting to the Head of Risk Underwriting, your role will include: Managing the risk communication and dialogue within the portfolio, ensuring sector knowledge is imparted and shared as appropriate and client relationships strengthened Ensuring all risk underwriting service commitments are achieved, including meetings / turnaround times / notice periods, etc., as appropriate Undertaking ongoing buyer monitoring to ensure continued profitability within the portfolio Reviewing and completing monitoring alerts and overdue notifications within agreed timelines Providing new business limit indications to the New Business team Reviewing the Buyer Grading and Country Risk parameters on an ongoing basis with recommendations to amend as needed within the current environment Assisting the Commercial Underwriting team with servicing meetings where appropriate Attending new business prospect meetings with the Sales team as needed to assist in achieving growth targets Liaising with Commercial Underwriters, Claims, Brokers, buyers and policyholders Direct contact with both Brokers and policyholders About You: As our preferred candidate, you will ideally have: Minimum 5 years risk underwriting experience preferably within trade credit insurance Bachelor's degree in Business / Commerce or similar field Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills including proficiency in MS Office Awareness of economic and market conditions What’s in it for you?
