Duties Improve the health and safety performance of Tasmania’s agricultural sector, including farm owners, managers, and workers. Produce and disseminate meaningful, relevant, and accurate information and resources about farm safety. Provide technical advice and educational material to industry stakeholders on emerging farm safety issues. Attend Tasmanian farms and farming communities to provide high-level advice and guidance on farm safety issues. Promote farm safety at rural gatherings and encourage positive discussions. Present on farm safety issues at meetings and gatherings of industry groups. Promote existing farm safety resources and opportunities for improvement. Identify and develop resources to enhance safety outcomes in consultation with key stakeholders. Qualifications Relevant agricultural knowledge and experience. Tertiary qualifications and industry experience in work health and safety or related disciplines.
