About the Company: Shamrock Civil Engineering is a reputable mid-tier civil construction contractor with extensive experience in bulk earthworks projects. We are currently seeking expressions of interest for experienced Senior Site Supervisors/Superintendents willing to work on a DIDO or FIFO basis to the Surat Basin region and other areas for upcoming projects. About the Role: As a Senior Site Supervisor / Superintendent specialising in Bulk Earthworks and other remote civil projects in the Gas, Mining and/or Water sectors, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the onsite activities related to Bulk Earthworks, Dam Construction, Roadworks and other civil projects in the Gas and Water sector. You will ensure project delivery aligns with safety, quality, and environmental standards while maintaining efficient operations in remote project locations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate bulk and detailed earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage, lining, as well as a variety of other civil work scopes. Manage onsite personnel, subcontractors, and equipment efficiently to meet project timelines and objectives. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout all phases of the project. Implement and monitor project work programs, schedules, and budgets. Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to maintain a safe working environment. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to site teams to achieve project goals effectively. Qualifications and Experience: General safety induction card and First Aid certificate. Extensive experience (minimum 7 years) in bulk earthwork and/or dam construction projects. Strong background in managing and supervising bulk and detailed earthworks in remote areas. Background in gas, mining and/or major water projects (e.g. dams involving bulk earthworks and lining) highly desirable. Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (highly desirable). Proven track record of successful project delivery within budget and schedule constraints. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to FIFO or DIDO work arrangements on a rostered arrangement.
