Senior Software Engineer – Full-Stack Web Developer (Baseline Clearance Required) Location: Canberra, ACT Security Clearance: Must have an active Baseline Clearance or be eligible to obtain one Contract Duration: 4 months (with a potential 12-month extension ) Rate: Competitive – based on experience Working Arrangements: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the office ) Maximum Hours: 40 hours per week About the Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack Web Developer) to join a federal government digital transformation program. This role is ideal for a highly skilled developer with strong expertise in React.js and/or Angular, as well as experience in backend development, cloud environments, and DevOps practices. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining high-quality web applications that support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile development teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and optimising application performance in cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance web applications based on business and user needs Write clean, secure, and well-tested code that is maintainable and reusable Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions Maintain and troubleshoot deployed services, ensuring reliability and scalability Develop intuitive user interfaces and implement seamless backend integrations Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment Apply best practices in authentication, security, and cloud-based application deployment Preferred Skills & Experience Proficiency in React.js or Angular, including modern features such as hooks, context API, and state management Experience in backend development using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance optimisation Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data processing (e.g., Azure, Databricks) Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT) and security best practices Knowledge of Azure Web Apps, Function Apps, and Logic Apps Experience with DevOps practices, containerisation (Docker), and cloud deployments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills How to Apply Please apply online or send your resume to or call him for a chat on 0433 704 567. #J-18808-Ljbffr
