About the Position This role will manage and lead the Inventory, Planning and Space teams, delivering results through building strategy, optimising existing processes and developing new ways of working in a fast-growing retail business. Your responsibilities will include: Deliver KPI’s through leadership, coaching and mentoring of direct reports and key business interfaces Ownership with the team of the full product life cycle, from accurate launch plans through to a planned exit strategy Gross margin return on investment (GMROI) Forensically review and manage space in stores, to deliver optimised floorplans to maximise sales and profit Implement ways of working across the business to ensure all stakeholders have an accurate view of space and assets by store Ensure stock spend is controlled within agreed targets Lead effective delivery of range changes and control ranges within agreed parameters Improve and develop stock management processes within team Establish processes for seasonal sales forecasting and range cascade documentation with team Candidate Profile The successful candidate will ideally have the below qualities: Degree qualified Prior experience in planning, space and inventory management Proven leadership and coaching skills ideally within a retail organisation Experience in developing effective processes and ways of working Highly analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and use data to influence and negotiate Strategic focus Advanced Excel skills If you have a strong passion for people management and delivering exceptional customer service within the space and inventory space, we encourage you to apply today!
